He has recently joined forces with the likes of Portland staples Tyler Tastemaker, Nicoluminous, and Dj Barisone to create the Hometown Blap Clique. Through the midst of his career, Ben has shared the stage and been apart of events with the likes of Caspa, Ana Sia, Danny Corn, Beats Antique, Babalyon Sysytem, Bassnectar, 6Blocc, Sexy Time, Geno Cochino, Nasty Nasty, and many others. He has performed at venues all over the Midwest, Emrgnsee, & Shambhala. Portland’s Mitchell Hanson aka DJ Vize is considered one of the top breaks dj’s/artists in the USA. His combination of top-charting tracks, dj skills and mind-blowing synthesizer chops remain unparalleled in the Pacific NW. Named a 2009 “Mover and Shaker in Breakbeat” by Annie Nightingale of BBC Radio1 UK, Vize’s production resume includes critically-acclaimed tracks and remixes on several labels currently making waves high on the dance music charts. As a DJ and live keyboard player, he’s one of the West Coast’s top breakbeat exports, laying down high-energy, booty shaking sets at venues from Vancouver BC to Las Vegas to Texas to Pittsburgh to Florida and a wide variety of places in-between – including intimate clubs, stadium massives, and even national festivals like SXSW.
