EMRG+N+SEE Music & Arts Festival Celebrates Its Eighth Year by Giving Portland, Oregon “An Urban Taste of the Underground” July 15-17
The eighth annual EMRG+N+SEE Music & Arts Festival [Jump to Event Schedule] invites the creative communities of the Pacific Northwest and beyond to come together and experience “An Urban Taste of the Underground” July 15-17, 2011. EMRG+N+SEE plans to bring one of the state’s premier cultural experiences out of the Oregon countryside and into the city of Portland, emitting the unmistakable ENS vibe from several amazing indoor and outdoor locations.
As expected, EMRG+N+SEE once again brings the best and boldest flavors of the West Coast arts scene to Oregon. Attendees can expect a unique convergence of forward-thinking music, art, fashion and culture into three days and nights of music, dancing, art, and freedom of self-expression.
A hand-picked collage of musicians and DJs – from global underground legends to emerging artists to local favorites – will be representing the brand of bass heavy future sound that has taken over West coast electronic dance culture in the new millennium.
Music is just one facet of this festival that also provides grounds for creative expression in the visual realm, including live painters, theatrical performances, art installations and stunning light displays. More of a participatory event than a stand-and-watch show, EMRG+N+SEE also offers workshops to engage its guests.
From ignition to blast off, there is something for everyone and a variety of ticket options ranging from $12 to $65. Ticket details at: http://2011.emrgnsee.com/tickets/
