Darren Minke is a Visual Alchemist – he uses many different mediums to bring his visions to life.

His stained wood series began as an experiment 10 yrs ago, and has been developing ever since. He starts by finding pieces of plywood that have interesting wood grain patterns, and then attempts to discover the images that lie within those patterns. By applying and removing a series of wood stain washes, he slowly brings the images in the wood to life. . The final artwork has the beauty and luminance of a fine piece of polished wood that illuminates the image within. These visions range from divine ecstasy to dark and mythical dramas, and serve as a glimpse into the subconscious of the artist and his auidience.
Darren’s Digital Art uses collaged photographs to create detailed, beautiful imagery that maintains the color and vibrance of a traditional painting. His images often play with the hidden sensuality within the natural world, and our connection to it. Many of his creations are inspired by dreams, emotions, psychedelic, and shamanic journeys. He will often combine metaphors and symbols from different religions and cultures to highlight their common threads and give old symbols new meaning. It is his hope that these images resonate with his audience, and inspire them to cherish and protect the earth, and seek to expand their conscious evolution.

Hey! My name is Matt Schlosky and thanks for checking out the work! Since I was a child he has been fascinated with creating things found within my imagination. I am fortunate to have found an outlet for this childhood passion, constantly exploring methods to learn, adapt, and grow, in his effort to redesign the world in which we live.

I will make my bio a short not so important story that has happened in my neighborhood the other day: “some kids thought it was funny to make a stand …like a lemonade stand.. but instead of a lemonade stand they gathered all the rocks in the yard and put up a sign that says ‘rocks for sale’ …at first I thought .. how cute … then I thought ..damn! these darn kids are slangin rocks right on my street corner …and for only 25 cents!!!

Sam Arneson born 1977 in southern California has been making art since he was three. Fascinated by the illusion of animation, young Sam was compelled to express himself visually every chance he got. Though his family had a modest income he had no trouble entertaining himself by doodling anything he could imagine or reading story books. His early influences ranged from medical diagrams he found in his dads encyclopedia to Michelangelo to the Land of the lost tv show.
